Consultants at Uganda Management Institute (UMI)

Job Title: Consultants (3 Positions)
   
1. Consultant in monitoring and evaluation (1 post) re advertised
2. Consultant in public policy and governance (1 post)
3. Consultant in procurement and logistics (2 posts)

Salary Scale: UM4a

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver training programmes,
Market UMI training programmes.
Develop training materials and case studies,
Facilitate on education and training programmes of the Institute.
Prepare reports on training conducted for both internal and external stakeholders
Evaluate the impact of training given to participants.
Conduct research and disseminate findings.
Carry out consultancy services for UMI Clients.
Supervise students carrying out research projects as part of their training.

Requirement:
Person Specifications:
Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree a field related to the post applied for from a recognized University or Institution.
An honors first degree in a related field is a requirement for all applicants
MCIPS is a requirement for applicants for the post of Consultant in Procurement and Logistics
A proven teaching experience in a University or other Institutions of higher learning will be required for all applicants plus substantial managerial experience gained with reputable organizations.
Should be aged 30 years and above
Computer Literate.
Ability to deliver high quality training in a wide range of fields to adult learners.
Ability to conduct research and undertake consultancy assignments.
