Job Description:
A mine  located in  Manafwa  District  , Eastern  Uganda  seeks  to engage  the services of experienced  service  artisans .

Job Requirements:
Duties
•    Maintain  plant  and equipment
•    Take  responsibility  for the installation  and  commissioning of  new  plant  and equipment .
•    Perform  periodic operational inspections/ checks  on plant  and equipment and  carry out  necessary repairs.
•    Assist  in the  training  of  apprentices  and other  engineering personnel
•    Take responsibility  for the  installation and  commissioning  of new plant  and  equipment .
•    Perform periodic  operational inspections/checks on plant  and equipment  and carry out  necessary repairs .
Qualifications
•    A  minimum   of a  3 –year diploma  from  a recognized  institution  in the  relevant discipline or  trade  tested  class  1 artisan.
•    A  minimum  of four  years  experience  in a  mining  or  heavy manufacturer  environment .
•    Must be  bilingual , with  a good  command  of both  spoken and  written  English .
•    Must have  sound Knowledge of  boiler making,  plate welding , pipe fitting , coded  welding  and  must  have  the  ability  to read  and interprete engineering  drawings  and  carry-out development  work
