Job Tithe: Dairy Inspector
Employer: Dairy Development Authority (DDA)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties:
• Conduct pre-registration and /or regular impromptu inspections to ensure that collectors , transporters traders, processors , exporters and importers of milk and dairy products conform to set standards and get registered by DDA.
• Improve consumer education and sensitization programs focusing on quality and safety .
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Principal Inspection and Enforcement Officer
Qualifications:
• Must have Bachelors Degree in Dairy Technology / Science , Food Science , Veterinary Medicine or related qualifications .
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in ensuring compliance with set standards and regulations .
• Should be computer literate
• Should have good interpersonal and communication skills and a team player .

Responsibilities;
• To generate and coordinate and coordinate orientation programs for new Students
• To design and produce certificates of attendance .
• To design means and ways of generating resources to make the school run smoothly and independently .
• To develop quarterly and annual work plans for the School
Experience:
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Diary Technology , Diary Science , Food Sciences , Technology , Diary Science, Food Sciences Technology or related qualifications from recognized institutions of higher learning .
• Post graduate qualifications in a management in a related field,
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience
• Should have good knowledge of diary standards , laws and relevant to the dairy industry
