Job Title: Dairy Development  Officer

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Duties:

• Facilitate  dairy  development  by  explaining , demonstrating  and  sensitizing  dairy  farmers  on government policies , strategies  and  programs  aimed  at increasing  production  and  productivity .
• Develop  future  media  articles  aimed  at  communicating  the  message
• Develop  future  media  articles  aimed  at  communicating  to  target  audience , the  significance  of milk  and dairy  products  consumption.

Qualifications :

• Must have  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Veterinary  Medicine  , Animal  Production  Dairy  Technology/science,  or related  qualifications
• At  least  2-years  of relevant  experience  in program  implementation  in agricultural  related  program .
• Should  have  good  networking  , mobilization , presentation and  networking  , mobilization, presentation  and communication  skills  , capable  of working  with  communities  at the grass root level  and other stakeholders in the  industry .
• Should have  good  interpersonal  and  communication  skills  and a team  player
