Job Title : Associate Communication Officer

The Roles and Responsibilities for this position will be
Develop a visibility plan for the WOGE project which will include branding and marketing
Coordinating , organizing and ensuring that all information and communication partner for development and social change
Produce the WOGE News letters for the project
Manage media relations on behalf of the project as well as create and maintain WOGE projects partners mailing list
Take the lead in effective management of the woge database and websites

Required qualifications
Degree in communications and journalism with skills in information management and mass communication
Qualification and experience information and communication technologies
At least 3 years of working in communications and ICT Works
Proficiency in the use of ICT s particularly in working with databases, development and maintenance and desktop publishing

Reports to : Doctor In Charge

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical Assistance in the implementation of demand creation for HCT and ART
Ensure that all clients diagonised with HIV are inked to care and treatment facilities and tracking of those lost to follow up
Training of cadres and other services
Provide technical support to participating partners to ensure successful implementation of linkage and follow up
Documentation all lessons learnt and best practices with regard to replication
Ensure correct and timely collection of data to health facilities and cadres
Any other duties assigned

Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in Public Health , Nursing , Health administration or related discipline
A minimum of 2 years of coordinating behavior change communications activities and capacity building at the community level around the HIV Test , TB, Sexual Health
Experiencing facilities dialogue between community and stake holders , health providers and local and national government
Essential Knowledge
Ability to ride motorbike and possession of clean riding licenses’
Ability to write operations reports , technical procedures , government regulation policies , documentation such as safety rules
