The New Vision Printing and Publishing Company Ltd is looking to recruit a dynamic, self motivated individual to fill the role of Marketing Manager, Electronic & Digital Media
JOB TITLE: MARKETING MANAGER ELECTRONIC AND DIGITAL MEDIA
Reports to: Head of Marketing
The Overall Job Purpose: To be responsible for developing and implementing the organizations marketing strategy to meet the agreed company objectives for all radio stations, television stations and digital media.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Working with the SBU Heads to develop, implement and manage marketing of all electronic and digital media to ensure that all marketing activities are achieved within the SBU strategic objectives and financial guidelines.
Lead, develop and implement effective marketing strategies and tactics that maximize the launch and the sustainable success of relevant brands.
Supporting the Head of Marketing with the annual budget planning process and regularly monitor related results.
Leading a cross functional team in delivering a variety of prelaunch and launch projects.
Delivering the annual marketing plan and key performance indicators for the relevant brands.
Managing the agreed budget spend for activities and ensure profit targets are achieved.
Working with market research to prioritize’research, make trade-offs, and keep focused on business objectives when making market research investments.
Develop and implement outstanding brand campaigns that motivate both external and internal customers to act in desired manner.
Assisting in coordination of public relations activities including print and broadcast advertising, publication production and special events promotions and assist in establishing and maintaining a consistent image for all relevant electronic and digital media brands.
Requirement:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Professional Qualification (Chartered Institute of Marketing) certifications.
A graduate with at least 5 years working experience in a FMCG marketing environment.
Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring marketing strategies.
Excellent Communication Skills, both oral and written
Possess excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and MS Outlook is essential.
Have excellent planning and organizing skills.
Possess good interpersonal / social skills
Ability to work well with people at all levels
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
Be conversant with developments in the market

The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) was established by virtueof the Capital Markets Authority Act Cap 84 Laws of Uganda as a semi autonomous body responsible for the promotion, development and regulation of the capital Markets industry in Uganda. The Authority would like to fill the following positions that exist within its establishment;

Compliance Manager
Job Titie:Compliance Manager
Reports to: Director Compliance

Strategic objective of the job:

Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the regulatory compliance of licensed entities and issuers to the CMA laws and other relevant legislation and standards.

Key Result Areas:

Review licensee applications, prospectus and information memorandums and make recommendations in line with applicable laws and accounting standards;

Prepare compliance plans, coordinate, supervise and carry out inspections;

Review compliance reports and prepare reports on recommended enforcement action;

Prepare investigation plans, analyze investigation reports and prepare reports on recommended enforcement action;

Review and analyze financial and other performance reports of market intermediaries and listed companies;

Participate in review of CMA legislation and regulations Take charge of complaints handling from market intermediaries & the general public

Supervise Compliance Officers and evaluate performance of staff under their supervision;

Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Person specification:

Minimum qualification:

An honours Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in Accounting, Finance or
Auditing and full professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CPA with at least 4 years experience at a senior level in a reputable firm or organisation A Masters degree in a relevant field and basic legal qualifications will be an added advantage.

Minimum experience

Have at least 4years experience in compliance, auditing or investigations work in a reputable organisation. Experience in Corporate Risk Management or with a Stock Broking or Fund Management organisation will be an added advantage.

Age: Not above 35 years of age Relevant additional qualities & skills:

•    Have good presentation, report writing and communication skills Have high level of integrity and professionalism Result & team oriented Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimum supervision

Desirable managerial & interpersonal skills Research, analytical and investigative skills

Design and implement Public Education activities and initiatives

Plan and prepare content, layout and design of Public Education Publications

Develop activity and funding proposals for Public Education initiatives

Monitor and evaluate the impact of Public Education activities Manage Public Education inquiries and queries from stakeholders and the general public

Person specification:

Minimum qualification:

An honours Bachelor’s degree in,Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related discipline

Minimum experience
