ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT
Location: Kampala, Uganda.
Primary function: Responsible for the management of the Company’s Accounts Payables.
Responsibilities:
Process and record invoices for timely and accurate payment.
Verify invoices against contract terms and other agreements.
Process invoices for payment, resolve discrepancies and carry out reconciliations.
Prepare and process accounts payable checks, wire transfers and ACH payments.
Process and record monthly Accounts Payable accruals.
Reconcile payable accounts with supplier statements.
Produce aging summary reports.
Maintain the vendor/supplier files and monitor the accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Assist with month end closing.
Prepare the monthly cash call and send corresponding notice.
Work to resolve cash management issues with Banks and Company Departments.
Other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree or above in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years related working experience in the 'Accounts Payable' function
Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Banking,
Extensive knowledge of IFRS and other GAAP.
Extensive knowledge of SAP accounting software package or related.
Clear understanding of oil Exploration & Production.

OFFICE SUPERVISOR
Location: Kampala, Uganda.
Primary function: To exhibit the core values of CNOOC Uganda Limited and bear overall responsibility of availing office services/ supplies to all other Departments as efficiently as possible; Coordinates group activities and resolves routine operational issues.
Responsibilities:
Anticipate and initiate appropriate action in conserving the Manager’s time.
Oversees all administrative duties for the Company as instructed by the Department Manager.
Interact with different levels of management, while performing a multitude of tasks.
Organize physical conditions in the office so as to create a proper working environment,
Establish proper authority relationships among members of the work group.
Assign work to the various Department Assistants according to their abilities.
Ensure proper building & property management and establish working relationships with all concerned service providers.
Supervise the office asset administration process and office consumable inventory.
Supervise budget implementation for office costs.
Other duties assigned by the Line Manager
Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Administration.
3-5 working experience in Office Administration in a busy environment and supporting a big team at Supervisory level.
Relevant experience of a similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
Knowledge:
Proficient in MS-Office application (MS- Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS- Outlook).
Clear understanding of Oil and Gas Operations.

VEHICLE FLEET LEADER
Location: Kampala, Uganda.
Primary function: To supervise and coordinate transportation and ensure vehicles are in working condition at all times.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the Coordinator in order to ensure smooth flow in transportation.
Provide advice to management on potential transport requirements.
Monitor the fleet budget position and annual.vehicle replacements.
Ensure vehicles are maintained and repaired on time in order to meet the Company’s quality standards.
Perform spot safety checks for safety compliance.
Other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field; Motor/Mechanical is preferred.
At least 8 years relevant experience in Transport Coordination obtained from a middle-large scale Organization.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Knowledge:
Vehicle mechanics.
Rules and regulations of Traffic Laws in Uganda.
Safety awareness of International organizations or Companies.
Clear understanding of oil Exploration & Production.
