Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the key responsibilities of this role shall be to:

Account for and make timely payment of supplier invoices with view to meeting company obligations while negotiating expense and optimizing credit days.
Reconcile and bank cash/cheque/bank collections on a daily basis.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts under the respective responsibility
Monitor and co-ordinate cash flow position of the company and ascertain sufficient liquidity is maintained to meet day-to- day requirements.• Report on the cash flow position of the company on a weekly basis.
Manage the cash float in the company and coordinate as required
Create error free postings and ensure that invoice/cost approval procedures are adhered
Competencies and Qualifications

High analytical capability.
Ability to multitask
Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook,
Working experience with accounting software
Highly organized
University Degree/Diploma
Intermediary Professional Accounting qualification
At least 4 years work experience in Accounts Dept

Job Description

The Senior Manager – Delivery Channels will report to the Head of Operations and will be responsible for deputizing the Head of Operations, supervising the e-Banking Manager, Manager Savings and all the Regional Managers across Pride network. S/He will ensure that all branch activities are conducted in compliance with set policies and procedures of the company.

Specific responsibilities will include:-

Work with Head of Operations to determine and review the short-term and long-term strategic objectives of Pride business.
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets, activity plans as regards Savings Deposits, Western Union and e-Banking products and ensure that all work plans and budgets are implemented in accordance with internal guidelines.
Work with Head of Operations, Regional Managers, Manager Savings and e-Banking Manager in setting up annual performance targets, and ensure that the annual targets and objectives are achieved and surpassed.
Manage and be the main point of contact for e-Banking products, Savings Deposits and Western Union growth.
Continually focus on new developments regarding e-banking. Savings Deposits and Western Union products and improving the delivery of these products.
Create and review documents, systems, policies and procedures to streamline PML’s e-Banking, Savings Deposits and Western Union operations.
Aggressively drive staff to mobilize deposits through sales best practices, training and support.
Take part in the manpower planning requirements of PML, in consultation with the respective Heads of Departments & Managers.
Supervise, coach, mentor and build capacity of subordinate staff by attending and participating in meetings, product workshops, trainings and trade shows.
Prepare periodic reports summarizing activities regarding delivery channels.
Academic Qualifications and Experience:

Should possess a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Statistics / Commerce, Finance, or in any other relevant /related field from a reputable institution with
At least 4 years’ experience at a senior managerial level. Candidates with direct microfinance and banking experience will be at an added advantage.
Person Specifications:

The ideal candidate should be a good team player, an outstanding sales person with the ability to mobilize savings and grow income from the e-Banking products.
Should be a good communicator with superb attention to detail, unquestionable character and interpersonal skills.
Should be mature, intelligent, diligent, with strong work ethics, integrity and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
Should possess a strong personality and dynamism, and should be able pull colleagues together to build a strong team.
Should possess public relations skills as he/she will often be required to represent the organization at various public fora.
Should be aged between 35 – 45 years.
