Job Title: Accountant
Busitema University is recruiting suitable applicants for the vacant post above .
Purpose
• To assist in the provision of financial and accounting support services in the University’s Accounts Unit in accordance with governing financial regulations .
Qualifications
• Either: An Honors Bachelors Degree in either Commerce (Accounting option ) or Business Administration (Accounting option) or
• Business Studies (Accounting option) or Finance and Accounting .
• Or Full professional qualification in Accountancy like ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualifications in accountancy obtained from a recognized awarding institution recognized by ICPAU.
• Computer knowledge of standard desktop applications is a requirement .
Experience
• Applicants with relevant experience will have added advantage .

Job Title: Senior  Program  Assistant

Qualifications
•    Completion  of secondary  school  , preferably  supplemented by  technical or  university  courses in a  field  related to the  work  of the  program
•    Seven  years  of progressively  responsible  clerical or administrative work , of which at least  one year  was  closely  related to support  of program activities .
•    Working  knowledge  of one/two  working  languages  of the organization
•    Core  Competencies  ;  Analysing  , Applying  Technical  Expertise  , Learning  and Researching,  Planning  and Organising , Following  instructions  and procedures , Adopting  and responding to  change  ,copying with  pressures and  setbacks.
