Duties:

Facilitate  dairy  development  by  explaining , demonstrating  and  sensitizing  dairy  farmers  on government policies , strategies  and  programs  aimed  at increasing  production  and  productivity .
Develop  future  media  articles  aimed  at  communicating  the  message
Develop  future  media  articles  aimed  at  communicating  to  target  audience , the  significance  of milk  and dairy  products  consumption.

Qualifications :

Must have  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Veterinary  Medicine  , Animal  Production  Dairy  Technology/science,  or related  qualifications
At  least  2-years  of relevant  experience  in program  implementation  in agricultural  related  program .
Should  have  good  networking  , mobilization , presentation and  networking  , mobilization, presentation  and communication  skills  , capable  of working  with  communities  at the grass root level  and other stakeholders in the  industry .
Should have  good  interpersonal  and  communication  skills  and a team  player

Duties:
Conduct  pre-registration and /or  regular  impromptu  inspections  to ensure  that collectors  ,  transporters  traders,  processors  , exporters   and importers  of milk  and dairy  products  conform  to set  standards  and get  registered by  DDA.
Improve   consumer  education  and  sensitization  programs  focusing  on quality  and safety .
Carry  out  any  other  duties  assigned  by  the Principal  Inspection  and  Enforcement   Officer

Qualifications:

Must  have  Bachelors  Degree  in Dairy  Technology / Science  , Food  Science ,  Veterinary  Medicine  or  related  qualifications .
At least  2 years  of relevant  experience  in  ensuring  compliance  with set  standards  and regulations .
Should be  computer  literate
Should  have  good  interpersonal  and communication  skills  and  a team  player .

Commissioner, Legal Services at Office of the President in Uganda

Job Title: Commissioner, Legal Services

Employer: Office of the President (Directorate of Ethics and Integrity)

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Salary Scale: Uganda Government Scale -U1

Age: 35years and Above

Minimum Qualifications and Working Experience:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in Laws plus a Masters Degree in a related field from a recognized University/Institution,
He/She should posses a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
Applicants should have a Minimum of ten (10) years relevant working experience three (3) of which should have been served at the level of Assistant Commissioner in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization.

Duties:

Deputizing the Director Legal
Providing legal services for the smooth operation of the Directorate
Acting as Legal Counsel to the Directorate on matters pertaining to the promotion for ethics and integrity and fight against corruption.
Following up on investigative reports on cases of corruption as may be deemed appropriate.
Handling all legal issues pertaining to Ethics and Integrity
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
