Job Title: QHSE Officer
Sugar corporation of Uganda limited is part of Metha Group of companies and one of the leading producers of mill white sugar in the country. It’s located at 45kms on Kampala-Jinja highway, just within the vicinity of Lugazi Town council, Buikwe District.
Qualification: BSC Environmental Engineering and management.
Experience: 2 years in Environmental management preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Key Result areas:
• Practical knowledge about Uganda Environmental laws/regulations
• Practical knowledge about engineering solutions and best practices to environmental challenges, solid waste management, effluent treatment, noise and air pollution.
• Practical hand on experience in handling the quality and Environmental management systems (QEMS) of ISO 9001/14001
Remunerations: Commensurate with the experience and qualification
