Job Title: Senior Auditor

Responsible to : The Internal Auditor

Salary Scale : IUA 3 a 2 years contract Renewable upon satisfactory performance

Key functions

• Reviewing financial and accounting system’s operation
• Auditing procurement and payment procedure to ensure remuneration confirm to the university budget and rules 
• Conducting store audits and their safe custody , efficiency and economic usage 
• Planning and programming for the department and supervise subordinates there in 

Minimum requirements

• Must have an MBA/Msc Accounting & Finance and CPA or ACCA or CIMA or equivalent professional qualifications and relevant first degree B.COM ,BBA,BBS in finance /Accounting from a recognized university 
• However those with a lower second but have completed ACCA or CPA can be considered 
• Should have at least five years working experience as internal auditor or as a financial officer

Job Title: Accounts Assistant ( 2 posts)

Responsible to : The University Bursar

Salary Scale : IUA6 a 2 years contract Renewable upon satisfactory performance

Key functions

• Review source documents for accuracy , completeness correctness and consistence 
• Keep accurate and updated records of the cash book 
• Daily depositing of fees deposits slips , bills payable , petty cash payments and bankings 
• Participate in stock movements reconciliation and periodic stock take exercise 
• Reconcile debtors accounts and discuss them with the bursar or assistant bursar 
• Reconciliation of bank account the cash book prepared by the university bursar on a monthly basis an submit the reconciliation statements to the bursar endorsing checking 

Minimum requirements

• A first or an Upper Second Class Degree in B.Com ,BBA/BBS with accounting option from a recognized University 
• However those with a lower second but have completed ACCA or CPA can be considered 
• Must be computer literate with 3 years working experience from a recognized institution
