7. Position: Executive Assistant/Driver (1 Position)
Reporting to: Assistant Administrative Manager
Duty Station: Kampala, Headquarters
Grade: UR7-1
Duration: Two Years
Specific responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Provides routine administrative services within the office.
• Photocopies financial documents in an organized manner ready for dispatch.
• Carries out proper filing and safe custody of financial documents.
• Receives, verifies and administers all financial receipts.
• Pays out cash in accordance with URCS Financial Manual.
• Drives URCS vehicle assigned in a safe conscious manner to authorized destinations.
• Purchases office materials, collects Performa invoices and ensures timely . payments.
• Carries out daily vehicle inspection and ensures that they are tidy at all times.
• Reports malfunctioning of the vehicle and ensures regular maintenance.
• Fuels the vehicle, accurately fills in the log book for all movements and fuel dispensed and submits monthly mileage report to the Logistics directorate.
• Keeps the vehicle safe, including all vehicle tools and equipment.

Requirement:
Minimum qualifications and working experience:
Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Management, Business Administration or its equivalent; Two years administrative support experience required; Holder of a Clean Drivers License: DM, DL, CH and B classes with at least 4 years driving experience with NGOs; no criminal record; computer literate and exposed to use of automated office equipment and systems; Should be a proficient Administrator able to handle multiple tasks with multicultural attitude. Approachable with excellent people management skills -team players and pleasant personality.

5. Title: Project Manager – Urban Risk Reduction (1 Position)
Grade: UR 6.1
Reports to: Senior Program Manager Disaster Risk Reduction
Location: Gulu
Duration: Two Years
Job Summary:

The Project Manager – Urban Risk Reduction will be part of the URCS team and be primarily responsible for branch level implementation of the piloting Urban Risk Reduction project in Lira and Gulu municipalities supported by American Red Cross.
Specific Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Leads field level implementation of Urban Disaster Risk Reduction according to project design.
• Supports the development of project work plans with clear work breakdown structures.
• Mentors branches and community groups including first responder teams on project requirements and accomplishments.
• Accountable for the effective utilization and timely accounting of project resources and generate and submit timely project reports in agreed formats !;
• Responsible for the generation and compiling of all project reports for piloting Urban Risk Reduction Project.
• Responsible for the initiation and drawing of branch level project work plan in, line with the agreed budgets and activities with American Red Cross.

Requirement:
Minimum qualifications and working experience:
The person must have a Bachelor’s Degree/higher education in Development Studies, Project Planning and Management or relevant field. M&E skills required Three years experience in active community mobilisation or project management preferably in a humanitarian organisation. Experience of working on community managed risk reduction projects is an added advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, MUST be computer literate guiding risk assessments, ability to work under pressure with limited supervision strong team player with the ability to manage disputes, result oriented and a great command in English.

HEAD STRATEGY MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS ANALYSIS

Overall role: To compile value-added management information that will assist Management and the Directorate in understanding and driving Strategic performance, as well as developing world-class management reporting and analysis for Business strategy monitoring. Formulate long-term and short-term product policies and oversee internal consulting projects lor business units and departments to maintain alignment with company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor Bank activities in line with the strategic direction, monitor and interpret all trends that occur within the industry;
2. Evaluating market size, competitor accomplishments and industry structures. Review industry performance and conduct market intelligence on competitor behaviour in our key market segments, detailing out implications for the Bank’s growth and visibility;
3. Monitor progress of the bank and its competition to ensure that all goals and benchmarks are met, re evaluated and adjusted as needed;
4. Responsible for creating business plans for all new branches and business ventures. In partnership with department heads, identify and triage business development and growth opportunities as well as seek out partnership opportunities with external vendors and organizations;
5. Review and report on weekly Wholesale and Consumer banking performance by RM and by branch against targets, deposit mix, advances, and profitability. Evaluate and analyze statistics and data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops and from various departments and turn it into usable information to facilitate Directorate decision making;
6. Collect and analyze the Bank’s business requirements and transfer the same knowledge to Directorate. Advise and provide suggestions to the Directorate during the development stage of product/business ideas to meet the Bank’s strategic objectives. Assist the directorate in the preparation of board papers and other documents for external parties;
7. Coordinating with Business units to evaluate new business propositions and performance;
8. Review, Obtain and analyze relevant information on the dynamics of the East African economies with respect to growth sectors, paying special attention to me bank’s strategic business growth axes;
9. Review and advise the management team on the impact of inflation, exchange rate movements, and money (liquidity and interest rates) and capital market performance on the bank’s overall strategy and propose positive action to achieve the overall goals. Coordinate Economic Research team efforts and drive the implementation agenda. 10. In consultation with the Revenue and Cost Optimization team, analyze the key revenue drivers showing the impact of change scenarios on the Bank’s profitability.

Requirement:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, business Administration or any related field from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.
• Professional qualifications in Finance or Business
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in banking, 3 of which should be at senior management level with exposure to strategic business management and monitoring.
• Solid mathematical aptitude and ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure, think analytically and should be a problem solver.
• Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information and strong ability to multitask
• Excellent Communication skills (oral and written), strong relationship-building skills and Team player.
• Advanced skills in Ms Word. Outlook, and Excel.
