Job Title: Human Resource Assistant
Grade: GL-4
Location: Entebbe
Duties and responsibilities
Under the supervison of the Human Resource officer, the Human Resources assistant will be responsible for the following duties;
* Review documents prior to initial appointment of National staff members including marriage.birth certificates of dependents, etc.
* Raise personnel actions for intial and extension of appointments.
* Establish entitlements accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with the staff Rules and regulations.
* Review claims for the Medical insurance plan
* Ensure staff is on payroll monthly.
* Advise staff members onn their entitlements when necessary
* Brief Staff members on their Entitlements/enrollments.
* Perform any other duty assigned
Competence.
Ability to manage processes, maintain accurate records,in admnistartive field.
Commitment to implementing the goal of gender equality by ensuring the equal participation and full involvement of women and men in all aspects of peace operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma
Post-secondary education at college or University specializing in office management, Business administration, and communication skills.
At least 4 years of related experience
Fluent in Spoken and Written English
