Qualifications
Must have a Diploma in Environmental Health Science or its equivalent from a recognized institution
Must be registered with the allied Health Professionals Council
Duties of the post
Carry out Health Inspection of Domestic, Public and Commercial Premises
Supervising refuse collection and disposal
Carrying out disease surveillance
Inspecting water sources
Participating in research activities
Inspecting food premises
Adhering to professional and Service Code of Conduct and Ethics
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted in triplicate on PSC Form No.3 (Revised 2008) to the Secretary, District Service Commission, P.O. Box 34 Sironko to be received not later than 16th March 2012.
Application Forms can be obtained from Public Service Commission’s office at Farmers House – Kampala or any District Service Commission. Applications should bear three (3) passport size photos and certified photocopies of supporting documents with daytime contact telephone.
Serving officers should route their applications through their Heads of Departments who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay. Job title and reference numbers must be indicated. Only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted.
