Job Description
•Mengo Hospital, a 300 beds, faith based, NGO, Hearth Cars complex, invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the job opportunities at the Hospital here below.
Job purpose/summary:
(a) Timely preparation and submission of accurate financial statements, reports, returns and reconciliations on a daily, weekly. monthly and quarterly basis in accordance with the established standards and procedures.
(b) Ensuring that all accounting information is accurate and properly posted in the system
{c) Supervising, directing and appraising accounts staff under his control
Requirement:
Minimum qualifications and experience:
{a) An Honors Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business Admin. (BBA, accounting option) from a recognized institution. Possession of a relevant professional accounting qualification. in part or full. Such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA is a distinct and competitive advantage
(b) At least of 5 years relevant working experience and exposure in the accounting function in reputable organizations).
(c) Extensive computer knowledge in Microsoft Office and Accounting packages is a must
(d) Must have proven knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and Internal Control Procedures.
(e) Should have good leadership skills including communication
and interpersonal skills
with ability to direct control, coach, develop and appraise staff
(f) Age: A mature and dynamic person of at least 30 years and
above.
