Job Title: Accountant
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Financial reports to external stake holders. annual reports and financial statements by deadline
- Preparation monthly management accounts and account assistant
- Approval of payments
- Preparation of other reports
- Quarterly commissioner returns
- Annual budgets
- Coordinate and manage auditors
- Directly supervising the assistant accountant assistant
Academic Qualifications and Experience
- A first Degree in Financial or Accounting from a reputable university
- Professional qualification in ACCA is a must
- An MBA is an added advantage
- Computer skills extensive knowledge in excel , access
- Insurance industry or audit firm experience would be an added advantage
