Technical Programme Officer CCF/PGA
CCF-Pader is a registered NGO operating in the Districts of Pader and Agago in Northern Uganda. It is committed to promoting Christian values and counseling to the war affected women and children.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES
Objective
Mentoring, creating a system in place for effective managing of organization with aim of sustainable strategy for CCF/Pader Girls Academy.
Specific task and desirable person
• Assist CCF and Pader Girls Academy School staff to design and manage integrated programs;
• Assist Programme Officer (PO) to create tools and guidance to define project development
Work with the POs and Director to review and improve
Performance Management Plans and in general motivate CCF staff and all team players
• Provide coordination and strategic oversight to the linkages between and among, CCF and Pader Girls Academy activities.
• Facilitate and support program planning, monitoring, information sharing and coordination; strong relationships with the Pos;
Strengthen accountability within CCF Team in order to be sure that programme activities will achieve their desired results.
• Seek continually for new opportunities for integration across development sectors – Education, social protection and Governance.
• Convene and facilitate quarterly project review with all the programme staff, as well conduct senior management meetings
Monitor performance of programmes together with Pos to determine extent of achievement of targets.
Educational Requirements:
• Honors degree in Social Sciences or equivalent from a recognised University;
Relevant Master’s Degree such Development studies, the social sciences, or, public administration etc.
Related Job Experience / Qualification
Minimum seven (7) years’ experience working with donor agency and/or a development organization, with at least 2 years’ experience supporting development programs in an or resource challenged setting.
• Technical knowledge of Organization Development, and post conflict rehabilitation especially in Education and livelihood
Demonstrated experience working with communities/local organization, donors, and government.
• Strong communication, interpersonal writing skills, and ability to motivate team members
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Have a proven track record of successfully working with donors, local governments and community.
