Job Description
Taloso Workshop is a retail bead and craft store based in Muyenga, Kampala. We specialise in the production of unique jewellery and stock exclusive locally made and imported beads, arts and crafts.
The position is a great opportunity for a creative person who has knowledge and experience in designing and making beaded jewellery, arts and crafts. The role is to support the development of our unique and up and coming retail store and move it in a positive creative direction that will see the production of unique and exclusive products for both a local and international market.
Day to day responsibilities will include assisting in the production, mending and re-production of jewellery, arts and crafts, point of contact sales, and the coordination of in store and out of store activities. Entry level salary will be given with increase determined on willingness to expand the business and generate sales.
Individual Requirements:
Positive, pro-active and goal orientated person who can accomplish tasks
General management skills
Knowledge of marketing processes and retail sales
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent command of English with any other languages a bonus
Most important of all, a fun, inviting yet professional attitude
