Job Description
SALARY SCALE: UAC 4
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR – PARTNERSHIP
RESPONSIBLE FOR : COORDINATOR – PUBLIC SECTOR, PRIVATE SECTOR & CIVIL SOCIETY
Job Purpose:
To coordinate the participation of various UAC Partners in the national response and to facilitate the various organs of collaboration between UAC and the Partners
Duties and Responsibilities:
To develop guidelines for the establishment of networks and partnerships among the different stakeholders for a harmonized national response
To provide technical support and guidance in the development and implementation of strategies and approaches for the national response including gender mainstreaming
To provide technical assistance in the development of work plans and budgets for Self Coordinating Entities (SCEs)
To monitor and report on activities of SCEs in the implementation and coordination of the National response in the various sectors
To supervise the implementation of the work plans for the SCEs
To organize and facilitate meetings of the SCEs
To supervise and appraise staff under this position
To implement recommendations from the Partnership Review
Person Specifications
Qualifications
A Masters degree in Public Health, Pubic Administration & Management, Business Administration or Social Sciences from a recognized institution.
Experience
A minimum of Eight (08) years working experience, Three (3) of which must have been at a senior level in Government, NGO or a reputable organization”
