Job Description:
World  Vision  Uganda is  a Christian  Relief  , Development and Advocacy  Non-governmental Organization  dedicated  to working  with children ,families and communities  to overcome  poverty and injustice .

Job Requirements:


Responsibilities
•    Advise  management  and staff  on key security issues  that may  affect Karamoja  operations .
•    Promote  the implementation  of World  Vision  minimum –security management  guidelines  and  to regulary monitor  compliance with audit  security  requirements .
•    Carry-out security risk assessments  and  advise  on  appropriate  measures and actions  within  the  area of operation .
Skills
•    University  or college  degree preferably  in Social  Sciences , Law , or  Security Management
•    Proven  security management  skills , with emphasis on the  unique  security requirements  of humanitarian  aid work
•    Additional  practical knowledge  of tools  and  mechanisms and procedures for  personal  and organizational security  in relevant  specialist areas  such as security  in the field , security communication, operational   planning , physical security , critical  incident  management ,occupational  safety and security  training .
•    Direct  personal  experience  of  working  successfully  in  hostile environments or under  difficult  operational  circumstances.
•    A  broad  understanding  of the  global security issues
•    A mature  and  committed  Christian, able to stand  above  denominational diversities .
