Job Title: Underwriter
A well established and reputable Insurance company is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the above post.
Responsibilities
• Underwritting of business i.e. issuing stickers, endorsements , policy documents and renewals
• Acceptance of risk and facultative placements up to a prescribed limit
• Broker visits and attending to broker queries ;
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
• Marketing all classes of business
Qualifications
• A University degree in a business related course or Actuarial science obtained from a recognized university
• A Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance (COP) is a prerequisite
• Possession of AC11 or progress towards an Insurance professional qualification will have an added advantage .
• Three years relevant experience .
