Project Coordinator, Integrated Programmes (2 positions)
Duty Stations : Bundibugyo and Gulu
The coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Partnership Manager – Integrated
Job Purpose
Provide ongoing capacity support and coordination of the project partners with project planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation and reporting in relation to Child Protection, Livelihoods, food security and HIV/AIDS.
Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications;
• A minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in any relevant field or the equivalent accrued working experience in a related position.
• At least 3 years progressive experience in programme development and management with INGO. Relevant experience supervising community based social development projects and with International NGOs particularly those addressing children’s rights to Protection, Livelihoods, food security and HIV/AIDS and those applying partnership approach is desirable.
• Thorough understanding of child rights issues, national poverty alleviation strategies as well as current national and international trends in to global poverty and development.
• Specific familiarity with child rights issues in the NGO world or work.
• Thorough knowledge of the quality programme development.
• Strong financial, planning and budget management skills and experience.
• Effective interpersonal skills – oral and written communication skills
• Strong facilitation, presentation, documentation and reporting skills
