Position: Health Safety Environment and Quality Manager
Reports to: Managing Director

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the above position within TOTAL Uganda Limited.

Required qualifications and experience
 Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial)
 At least 5 years proven experience in a busy environment.
 Working experience in a Petroleum company as is an added advantage.
 Operational Safety training and experience

Primary responsibilities:
 Coordinate all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality programmes in the company.
 Coordinate the implementation of Management systems in the section like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISSSRS.
 Coordinate and consolidate Quality plans and programmes across the organization.
 Coordinate quality system implementation, quality audits and assessments.
 Advise Depot Managers, Depot Supervisors, LPG Supervisor, Dealers, Station staff, Transporters and Operatives on safety matters.
 Prepare and conduct training for staff and its partners on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality matters.
 Organise fire and safety drills.
 Compile and submit to management and head office monthly reports on health, safety, environment matters.
 Conduct safety and security audits and advise management on the situation.
 Coordinate with the Transport Manager to achieve efficiency in delivery of logistics and implementation of the safety management system for the transport fleet.
