Job Title: Assistant Driller- QSL/OGEC/08/13-04 - 12 posts
Duties:
• An Assistant Driller is the Driller’s right-hand man.
• He is the person on the drill floor who must ensure that all the equipment, which is to be used in connection with the drilling operation, is maintained and ready for use when necessary, preparing drilling documentation and maintaining accurate drilling logs, and assisting the Driller in supervising fellow team members.
• He also maintains communication between the deck and the drill floor.
• Training of new drill floor personnel is another responsibility of the Assistant Driller
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• High school degree in petroleum engineering or equivalent experience in a technical field
• Minimum 7 years of experience on drilling rigs
• Experience as Derrickman
• Certificates in first aid,
• Hydrogen sulfur awareness,
• Well control and blowout prevention course with certificate,
• Fork lift operator certificate
• Safe lifting training
• language: English or polish
• Safety Training Courses and Medical Certificate
