Duties and responsibilities:
The candidate's core duty entails among others, the overall management and supervision of all financial matters of UMA in accordance with the Law and policies designed by board of UMA and generally accepted financial reporting standards.

Education, knowledge and skills
The approriate candidate should posses the following attributes.
- Must be a ugandan National
- At least a good degree in Business Administration/ commerce from a recognized university. The candidate Must be a chartered Accountant with (ACCA) duly registered as such in Uganda by the relevant professional body.
- A master's degree in any of the above would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated communication skills and interpersonal relations.
- At least five years related hands on working experience in the capacity of finance manager, in a vibrant private sector organization.
- Readiness to work under considerable pressure with minimal supervision.
- willingness to work extensively once called upon to do so may be dictated by work callings
- High degree of versatility at work can enable the candidate to take on additional responsibilities beyond the core, when deemed necessary.
