Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

A University degree required with a high preference to candidates with Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business degrees.
Between 4-6 years work experience focused on mobile technology; preference to candidates with East Africa experience.
An excellent track record of innovation and results.
Strong project management skills, experienced in managing projects that involve coding/software development, field testing, user training, etc.
Willingness to travel between Uganda and Kenya.

Job Summary:

•    The  Agricultural  Economist will perform  economic  analysis on the  impact of value chain activities  on  farming households.
Qualifications
•    A Bachelor’s  degree  in agricultural economics , economics or  statistics .
•    Over  5 years  experience in monitoring  and evaluation of  agricultural  value chain programs  and in-depth knowledge  of financial  or  economic analysis .
•    Expertise  in design and implementation of  agricultural  related  research  and data  analysis  is a plus .
