Job summary

The logistic supervisor is responsible for managing the general logistics activities in order to keep the mission running smoothly and these include HR management procurement, material management vehicle fleet management, constructor & rehabilitation.

General Duties:

Responsible tor al1 logistic supplies purchased locally or via the capital,
Responsible identifying quality contractors negotiate quotation update prices with suppliers (follow up of works regularly and pre-acceptance of works.
Responsible to logistic stock management including orders, upkeep, stock receiving and security
Responsible to- drawing up logistic orders, follow up orders m progress and outstanding balances checking smoott1 reception of orders and checking the application and control of procedures
Responsible for managing the reception of locally purchased goods and dispatching them to the various departments.
Responsible for managing the programme’s vehicle fleet (maintenance of fuel consumption! and motorized engines (generators pumps) and ensure that all vehicles are m good working condition
Responsible for planning vehicle movements and drivers follow up
Responsible for security and genera maintenance of MSF compounds MSF premises and infrastructures within Arua hospital
Responsible for communication equipment and procedure
Perform human resources management function of supervision
Supporting manager in dairy activities and planning
Training providing oversight of duties performed by team members
General Qualifications:

Knowledge in material management, procurement and supplies is mandatory
Experience in team management mandatory
Knowledge motor vehicle and generator maintenance and servicing is an advantage,
Knowledge in electricity, plumbing and general maintenance of energy equipments like solar system and refrigerators.
Diploma in any of the above fields.
Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team
