Job Title: Technical Advisor, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Roles
Working uder the direction and supervison of the assitant commissioner-environmental health division to:
Management.
Technical advisor will report to the Programme manager Uganda Sanitation Fund, who will be responsible for supervisong the assignment. on technical aspects, the technical advisor will liase with USF staff of MoH
Duration
The contract period shall not exceed 2 years.
Qualification and experience
Advanced University degree level in public health, social science, civil or public health engineering and or sanitation engineering .
Training in Sanitation, hygience, international development and social development.
Over 10 years experience in sanitaion and hygiene
Experience in programme monitoring and evaluation.
Knowledge and experience of local government systems and planning process

Roles

- Support the programme manager in the technical and management aspects of the programme
- plan ans participate in detailed needs and capacity assessment in each of the 16 selected targets districts- to take the lead in the preparation of summary reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- On a day to day basis , act as a liaison between EHD, district local governments and other implementing partners.
- support technical Assistants in the implementation of their activities.
- Monitor USF programme implementation by sub-grantees,
- Any other duties assigned.
