Our Client CNOOC Uganda Limited is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancy;
Primary function:
?Responsible for geological technology in the stage of petroleum development and assisting the Geology team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
?Participate in geological technical operation and research.?
Participate in the development well plan.?
Carrying out Analysis of geology engineering data (static and dynamic) in order to obtain updates on geology characteristics and parameters, which will be used for updating geology models. ?
Carry out Geology dynamic data synthesis for the field.?
Participate in geology model building and updating.?
Participate in making ODP and the technical policies, providing requirements and suggestion, and tracking the implementation.?
Dynamically track the geology operation, submitting the research result and the recommendation report to the leaders.?
Other duties assigned by leaders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum, Geology or related.
Positive attitude with willingness to learn.
?Knowledge of geological research methods and technology.?
Knowledge of seismic, exploration, well logging and development.?
Knowledge of drilling, engineering and economic evaluation.?
?Good organizational, negotiation and communication skills.?
Good analyzing and problem-solving ability.?
Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
Understanding of petroleum policy and laws.
?Good team player.?
Highly motivated and achievement orientated.?
Prefer to overseas and offshore oil field working experience.
