Job Title : Environment Protection Manager
Location : Kampala
Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance regarding both Ugandan international protection environmental laws and regulations
Develop the long term company strategic plan and annual plan for environmental protection
Coordinate with the government to carry out environmental impact assessment for oil and gas development activities
Develop oil spill contingency plan and coordinate the spill response training and response operations in the event of oil spill accident
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering , Environment , safety or equivalent
Minimum 10 years related working experience in the oil & Gas industry including 5 years working experience
Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of environment protection
Extensive knowledge of environment Impact assessment and pollution control technology
Proficiency in 1S014000 environmental Management System
