Vacancies FOR PILOTS (02 POSTS)
Applications are invited for the post of Pilots existing in the Air wing Division of Desert Locust Control Organization for Eastern Africa (DLCO-EA), a Regional Organization which specializes in Agricultural Aviation.
Applicants must:
• Be nationals of contracting Governments of the Organization viz: Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
• Be willing to work anywhere within the Region.
• Have the ability to work in harmony with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
• Be fluent in English language. Knowledge of French language will be an added advantage. The Pilots will be responsible to the Chief Pilot. Duties include pest control operations, and other general aviation activities.

Salary Scale R4B (US$ 17,787-US 19,146 p.a.)
Entry point is negotiable for qualified candidates.

Preferred Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Valid CPL or ICAO recognized Licenses with twin engine rating.
• 2000 hours command plus instrument rating with minimum 500 hours tail wheel experience. Preference shall be given to candidates with Instrument Rating and crop spraying experience
• Diploma or University level in Sciences is an added advantage.
• Optimum age 30 - 50 yrs.
