The ICCO & Kerk in Actie are being supported by Oxford HR in the global search for a Regional Fundraising Officer.

The ICCO is an inter-church organisation for development cooperation, working in 41 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. ICCO give global financial support and advice to local organisations and networks that work for better access to basic facilities, initiating sustainable economical development and enhancing peace and democracy. ICCO also bring together enterprising people in the Netherlands and in developing countries.

Kerk in Actie (Church in Action) supports the work of hundreds of Christian churches and organisations both in the Netherlands and world-wide, to help people realise their potential and provide them with new perspectives for the future. All Kerk in Actie’s programmes abroad are carried out jointly with ICCO.

We are currently seeking a Regional Fundraising Officer (RFO) for the Central and Eastern African office, based in Kampala, Uganda. The RFO is responsible for securing continuous financing from existing donor networks and to broaden up towards new sources of financing for Programs within the framework of the ICCO Alliance Regional Strategic Plan. Together with the Country Program Managers (CPMs) and Program Officers (POs), the RFO is responsible for generating new and maintaining existing donor relations.

The ideal candidate should have proven successful institutional fundraising experience, as well as a good working knowledge of donor policies and working procedures. He/she will have extensive relationship management skills; exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills as well as excellent communications skill in English and French (written and verbal).
