Job Title: Tax Manager
Job Description
The ideal candidate will serve as a tax legal advisor to clients in a range of industries and offerings assist in managing multiple client engagements while seizing as a business advisor to clients. Research, write, and review client tax advice relating to domestic and international tax matters. Assist in formulating and delivering tax planning and tax services as well as helping clients in resolving their tax disputes. Supervise and aid in the development and training of new and experienced staff professionals
Required qualifications and Skills:
a) . University Degree in law – minimum upper second with Post graduate Diploma in legal practice.
b) . At least 4 years experience in practice in area of corporate services and or tax litigation.
c) . A sound business mind.
d) . Good communication and people management
skills.
e) Strong planning, research, and communication skills.
f) Good knowledge of Uganda’s tax compliance and v litigation regime.
