Job Title: HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER(1)

Job Description

Job Purpose:

To perform the HRM function of BEH in accordance with the hospital Human Resource Policy and the applicable laws of Uganda.

 Key functions:

     i.          Carrying out BEH staff welfare management

   ii.          Leading the planning and organizing of the manpower resource through recruitment, deployment, training, utilization and discharge.

  iii.          Providing technical advice to BEH on matters related to Human Resource Management issues.

   iv.          Monitoring staff performance through staff appraisal exercise to ensure quality service delivery.

    v.          Preparing Human Resource Management work plans, holiday schedules budgets and performance reports.

   vi.          Interpreting Human Resource Policies, Rules, Regulations and procedures.

   vii.          Compiling, reviewing and keeping custody of the staff lists and related personnel records and proving assistance in the management of BEH payroll.

    viii.          To advice the BEH management on the improvements in the hospital HR policy that may be necessary from time to time.

Qualifications:

An Honours Bachelors Degree in social work and social administration (SWASA)or Human Resources Management Or Social Sciences (with Personnel /Human Resource Management as an option )or Management Science or Business Administration (Management )or Arts (with Personnel /Human Resource Management as an Option )from a recognized University.

Experience in the HRM field will be an added advantage.
