Job Title: Public Liaison Officer (position 01)

Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring liaisons and established, maintained and developed with all key • stakeholders. And this among others will include;

Support Programme Manager to establish and maintain liaison with existing and poienTial programme partners and explore potential partnerships for the benefit of the programme
Establish and develop relations with government partners at central and district level. Particularly ensure government participation at key programme activities and ensure flow of information to the government.
Establish and develop relations with educational institutions to ensure scholar enrolment and support
Establish and develop relations with other development partners as required
Ensure efficient and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders regarding the programme
Any other task assigned to achieve the vision of the programme.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Must have a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences
Experience of working with the Government and multiple stakeholders
More than 05 years of work experience with Government, stake-holders
Good knowledge on Ugandan Government structures
Experience of working in a multicultural environment ‘
Good team player
Salary: Negotiable

Job Location: BRAC Country Office in Kampala (with lots of field work)

Direct supervisor: Program Manager
