Job Title: Writing Business Proposal for Community Based Programmes, Home Based

TASK
We would like to establish a sustainable, self-sustaining reliable source of income for the organization. To fulfil our goals we have become partners of Bid Network, an organization that aims at developing small and medium businesses in the developing world. We therefore need a volunteer to write a business proposal to be submitted to the network.
The task is expected to be completed in 90 days. We shall give all the needed information and documents during the development of the proposal. We expect to collaborate with the volunteer for at least 10 hours per week.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Mmanze Centre for Rural Development and Training is a community based organisation working with the rural community in Uganda. Our main source of income for the last twenty five years has been from grants. The task relates to your organization's need of establishing a self-sustainable reliable source of income so that we are no longer based on grants from donors.
OBJECTIVE
Our main goal is to establish a sustaining, reliable source of income for our organization through construction of students hostels and residential staff houses. The proposed project is expected to be funded by equity business partners through the business in development network based in the Netherlands of which we are already members of the network.

The volunteer we need should have skills in project planning and management, business proposal writing especially businesses concerned with construction, business marketing. He or she should have at least two years of experience.
