Job Title: Judicial Officers
Judicial Service Commission invites suitable qualified applicants to fill the above position .
Qualifications
• Candidates should be Ugandans who possess an LLB degree from a recognized University / Institution , plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre Kampala or its equivalent .
• Any relevant advanced /post graduate qualifications especially in Management , Administration , Finance , Business or Information Technology will be an added advantage .
• Must have served with integrity , efficiency and effectiveness as a Senior Principal Magistrate Grade One for a period of at least two years or Principal Magistrate Grade One for four years or Senior Magistrate Grade one for five years or magistrate grade one for not less than six years
Duties
• To hear both Criminal and Civil cases.
• To write and deliver judgements
• To administer and supervise staff in the Magisterial Area
