Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Monitor water levels in the tank to determine amount of water to be pumped to maintain specific levels
of water for distribution to the entire University.
2. Clean water tanks and remove algae and other physical impurities from the tank.
3. Operate the University generator to pump water into the tank.
4. Report any mechanical faults on the water pump and generator to the Supervisor.
5. Perform any other official duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Person specification
1. Should have a certificate in plumbing or an equivalent certificate in mechanical engineering.
2. Should have two years relevant working experience.
