Job Title: Head of Field Office
The World Food Program is the United Nations frontier agency against world hunger.
Duties
• Formulate and Design programs for relief , recovery and development operations at the sub office in consultation with beneficiaries and District officials ;
• Ensure timely production of the sub office work plan , monitoring and evaluation Mtrix and quarterly activity calenders
• Ensure implementation of the sub office work plan, assess project performance , resource utilization and review achievements of the constraints to the field activities
• Manage the commodity pipeline at the sub office and food distribution plans and advice management on the food and NFP requirements of the sub office for timely delivery.
Qualifications
• Advanced University degree or University degree with experience in any of the following disciplines ; economics, agriculture , international affairs , business administration, Social sciences , development studies or any other related field, attained from a recognized University .
• At least six years post graduate relevant working experience in public sector management , development projects and/or emergency assistance gained from reputable organizations
• Previous management experience is necessary.
• Good working knowledge and experience using MS Office applications is a must.
