Job Description:
Lutheran  World Relief   Organization  is inviting  for  qualified  competent  candidates  for the vacant  position above.
Job Requirements:


•    Effectively  manage   the  country office  based  in Kampala , leading  the  country  team  in identifying  and pursuing  opportunities  for strategic  alliances  and  new  business  development .
•    Contribute to the  strategic  planning  processes  of  LWR  globally  and oversee the development  of the  Uganda  country  strategy.
•    Lead the  country  team  in identifying  and providing  support  to partiners  to strengthen  their capacity to  design  and  manage  high quality programs .
•    Develop  and manage  the annual  budget  for the  country program  and ensure compliance with donors  and Uganda  government .

Competencies
•    Deep  commitment  to  LWR’s  core  values
•    Post-Graduate  degree  in development  , social  sciences , economics , agriculture  or other relevant  discipline .
•    8 years  progressive  professional  experience  with  demonstrated  ability  to manage  an office , program , budgets  and staff
•    Strong organizational , planning  and problem  skills
•    Excellent  intercultural  and  interpersonal skills
