Job Title: Mechanic
Uganda Electricity Transmission Company limited is recruiting suitable applicants for the vacant post above .
Key Result Areas
• Carry out assessment of motor vehicles to get licenses, owner’s transport permit (OTV) and alterations in the vehicles to abide by legal status
• Inspect motor vehicles before and after repair from external garages in line with UETCL fleet management manual .
• Follow up request for payments of licenses of fleet from in line with UETCL fleet management manual.
• Assist in the checking and topping up of engine oil and other oils used by the vehicles .
• Supervise the repairs and service of vehicles along UETCL Transmission lines in line with UETCL fleet management manual .
The Person
• Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution .
• Uganda Certificate of Education (O Level Certificate)
• Must possess valid National Driving permit for classes B,CM&G
• Possession of class CH will be an added advantage .
• Defensive driving and basic training in vehicle mechanics would be added advantage
