Job Title: Regional Technical Officer
Duties:
• Coordinate and manage CHC capacity strengthening (CS) at district lower levels
• Contribute to development of tailored technical strategies , ensuring integrated approaches across different health components
• Oversee the roll out of all district /village –level health communication activities
• Ensure project data is used for planning and decision –making
Qualification and Experiences, Skills:
• A minimum of bachelor’s degree in communication , social sciences , public health or related field with 5-7 years of experience in designing and implementing HC programs . Experience working with districts and implementing partiners is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interact with donors , implementing partiners , and GOU counterparts on relevant technical areas
• Prior experience with health communication (HC)
• Experience managing /supervising staff
• Relevant computer software skills (including , at a minimum, the standard applications in MS Office)
