Job Title; Floorman – QSL/OGEC/08/13-06 - 24 posts
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of drilling string on the pipe rack
• Sorting DP and DC according to the categories;
• Washing cleaning and maintenance of the threads;
• Visual check of seal face and threads;
• Identification of threads types;
• Drilling string maintenance-maintenance agents;
• Communication and signals during loading and offloading operations.
• Preparation of drilling equipment for the drilling operations:
• Bits; Subs;
• Elevators -types (for DP, DC, casings); Slips- types (for DP, DC, casings); Safety clamps; Wrenches;
• Checking wrenches mounting and counter lines;
• Lubricants and conserving agents; Measuring and control instruments (weight indicator, gauge, dynamometer)
• Employee behavior after announcement of emergency alarm on the drill site;
Basic duties during the drilling operations:
• Making up DCs and DPs (setting pipes pin to box during RIH operations, racking on setback, visibility); Threads and seal face lubrication; Checking the state of drilling string during RIH/ POOH operations in order to find out damages;
• Tightening with controlled torque; Making and breaking of new connections; Inspection and installation of safety clamps;
• Setting drilling string in slips; Work in the range of wrenches operations at the time of tightening and breaking of connections;
• Operations related to make up of the drill string and RIH;
• Regulations to maintain the order in the workplace within the rotary table (elevator place, slips and safety clamps); Mud balance;
• Cleaning and changing shale shaker screens;
• Emergency training (types, signals
Requirement:
• Special operations include preparation of casing for RIH operations.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• Secondary school degree or High school degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
• certificates in first aid,
