MUJHU Care Ltd is looking for a competent person to fill the position of a pharmacist

Tittle: Pharmacist
Reports to the Lead pharmacist


Responsible for monitoring, packaging and dispensing of study drugs, anti-retroviral drugs and drugs for treatment of opportunistic infections.


Key result areas:
• Pharmaceutical management of medication including ARV’s, study products and medicines for opportunistic infections;
• Procure medicines, forecast needs, and maintain proper records and accountability of the program drugs,
• Prepare program drugs, study products, packaging and labeling them.
• Participate in clinical management of patients including evaluation and management of response to ARV’s reactions to drugs, patient education and medication adherence counseling,
• Dispense and supervise dispensing of medication
• Ensure proper storage and disposal of drugs
• Timely completion of pharmacy reports.


Job Requirement:
• A degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University or proven equivalent qualifications.


Experience:
Must be a registered Pharmacist with at least 2years experience in a busy Pharmaceutical set up.
The pharmacist must have a good organizational skills, be able to work under minimum supervision and with excellent communication skills.
The pharmacist should be independent, self-motivated and willing to work evening hours and weekends some of the time.
Experience with anti-retroviral drugs, training in GCP and HSP will be an added advantage.
