Job Title: Project Engineer
Reports To: Assistant Manager projects
Job purpose
The primary purpose will be to supervise progress of implementation of detailed feasibility studies and construction of electricity projects in different parts of Uganda
Key Duties and responsibilities
Analytical review of projects feasibility study reports and technical plans for appropriateness
Monitoring progress of implementation of detailed feasibility studies and project construction.
Development and application of an effective monitoring and evaluation framework.
Competencies;
Minimum Education and years of Experience.
Engineering Design
Project management skills knowledge of electricity systems
Skills
Computer
Report writing
Communication
Personal Attributes
Good interpersonal skills
High level of analytical skills and good at report writing
Good communication skills
Flexible to move both to office and in the field
Qualifications;
A bachelor of science Degree in Electrical engineering or
A bachelor of science Civil Engineering with Postgraduate training in Hydro Power Development.
Post graduate qualification is an added advantage.
Should be a registered Engineer
Above 27 years and below 35 years with 3 years related working experience and with knowledge of Uganda’s power sector.
