Job Title: OFFICE MANAGER

Job Description

OFFICE MANAGER- (1 POSITION BASED IN PADER)

The Office Manager is a senior position for Mercy Corps Uganda with supervisory and managerial responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Office, he/she will be primarily responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operations and functions of the Pader Office to ensure programs run smoothly. The Office Manager will provide support to the Pader Field Office in form of logistics, administration, HR, and compound/equipment maintenance as well as general day to day management of the office.

All Applicants must possess ;

    A BA/S or equivalent in relevant field.
    Four years experience working in international relief and development in logistics and administration, staff supervision and development, training, team building, finance & administration, donor relations, and inter/intra – agency communications. This includes experience living and working overseas and working in remote conditions.
    Excellent computer  and communication skills
    Experience managing the development, implementation, administration, and compliance of US Government, ECHO/EC, UN, private foundation, and corporate grants, and related projects.
    Ability to effectively represent the organization and its interests to a diverse range of local and international government officials, local civil society organizations, other international organizations, the media, and the public.
    Experience in managing support functions – logistics, Administration, HR, etc. desirable.
