Job Title: Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

Job Description
Safety is paramount in our business, and we practice what we preach by ensuring thorough inspection and maintenance of our aircraft. We need a qualified Engineer to be responsible for this function.
 Duties & Responsibilities:
 • Support operation of the aircraft in compliance with the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Regulations
 • Carrying out Scheduled Maintenance of aircraft
 • Carrying out Troubleshooting & Defect rectification of aircraft, engines and systems.
 • Compilation and revision to maintain currency of an approved maintenance programme
 • Maintenance and updating of Technical Records, in liaison with main maintenance base.
 • Airplane, including engine, lifed components and airworthiness limitations surveillance/tracking
 • Ensuring that maintenance of aircraft Airframe & Engine systems is carried out in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority Requirements, manufacturer’s recommendations & best practices
 • Inspection and Certification of work carried out on aircraft – including certificate of release to service
 • Accomplishment of C of A Renewal requirements including flight tests and compilation of required paperwork.
 • Accomplishment of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Modifications & other regulatory requirements affecting aircraft
 • Performing any other aircraft and ground service equipment Maintenance related duties as required
 Qualifications & Skills
 • Degree or Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized institution.
 • Valid Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License in Category A and C – Gas Turbine Engines
 • Cessna 208b Type Rating
 • Pratt & Whitney PT6A -114A Type Rating
 • Type Rating/ Type Training on C208b
 • Have a minimum of 5yrs total aircraft maintenance experience on Cessna Caravan; Twin Otter experience/ratings will be an added advantage
 • Have good communication skills & be a team player
 • Computer Literate – experience with digitized libraries and maintenance tracking / planning software is an added advantage
 Working Conditions:
 Responsibilities may require evening and weekend / holidays on duty or standby.
