AGE : 28 YEARS AND ABOVE
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized University/Institution.
Possession of a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in a related field from a recognized University/Institution shall be an added advantage.
Applicants should be registered with the Uganda Architects Registration Board.

He/she should have the following Key Competencies; change management, problem solving/decision making, strategic thinking, policy management and leadership
DUTIES:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Assistant Commissioner, Architecture for performing the following duties:
? Developing, reviewing and enforcing policies, strategies and guidelines for technical and effective implementation of public building programmes, projects and activities.
? Coordinating the development of legislation, policies, standards and guidelines for building construction.
? Initiating policy, legislation and standards for the professionals and agencies in the field of Architecture.
? Supervising and supporting stakeholders in the field of Architecture.
? Advising Government on matters regarding Architecture.
? Providing support supervision and technical support to Local Governments on matters regarding Architecture.
? Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
