Job Title: LIAISON MANAGER ICT ASSEMBLIES
About this Job:
The East African Communications Organisation which is an organisation of all ICT regulators of the five East African countries (that is, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Rwanda), telecom operators, broadcasters and postal service operators in the five respective countries of EAC, WITH ITS Headquaters in Kigali, RWANDA Wants to carry out recruitment for the following positions;
B(ii) TITTLE: LIAISON MANAGER ICT ASSEMBLIES
The Liaison Manager ICT Assemblies will report directly to the Executive Secretary.
Key Responsibilities
i. Promote, coordinate, and harmonize the implementation EACO ICT resolutions;
ii. Coordinate the work of ICT Assemblies;
iii. Carry out research on field including telecommunications, Broadcasting and Postal Sectors;
iv. Coordinate preparation of relevant working committee papers;
v. Spearhead harmonization of ICT
vi. Assembly resolutions;
Requirement:
Qualifications and Experience
i Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Management, ICT Law, Economics and Engineering (all to be ICT related) with experience and Master’s Degree will be an added advantage;
ii At least five (5) years working experience in ICT Regulatory environment;

Conditions of Employment
i. The successful candidates will be based in Kigali, RWANDA.
ii. The term of office for Executive Secretary is four years period, renewable once and the term of Office for LIAISON Managers is three years renewable once.
